More than a Label
Xintai Warehouse, a rare early 20th-century industrial building along Suzhou Creek and owned by Pei Runsheng, uncle of renowned architect I.M. Pei, has been thoughtfully transformed by Made in House into flexible commercial and office spaces. By preserving its historic character while integrating modern upgrades, this project demonstrates how heritage sites can be successfully revitalized to meet today’s business needs.
The branding design integrates its architectural features with the historical and cultural context of Suzhou Creek. By combining the brand name, initials, spacing, and building details into a unified logo, the design clearly reflects the warehouse’s unique identity and heritage.
Made in House shapes Xintai Warehouse into a platform that connects commerce, art, design, fashion, culture, and history. Embracing the concept of “More than a Label,” it drives innovation and diversity through curated programs and events, transforming Xintai Warehouse into a vibrant place that honors its heritage while continuously evolving.
